Brief History

Bigwillow, Inc. is a diversified technology company, focused on improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation. Mr. Haruyuki Ohyanagi, Japanese, at first started a company named HYP Trading Philippines, Inc. which sells surplus items from Japan. Then years later, he came back to the Philippines with his two sons Tomoki Ohyanagi and Miki Ohyanagi bringing the spirit of modernization. BIGWILLOW was derived from their Surname. “O” which means “BIG” in Japanese language and “Yanagi”  means “WILLOW” tree. They are determined to contribute in the innovation of technology in the Philippines that’s why they introduced Bigwillow Electric Motors.

            Ever since our products were launched, Bigwillow Electric Motors has sought to contribute to a modern society. These electric motors promotes a clean-air environment, are eco- friendly and will benefit our consumers because no driver’s license and registration is required, and are cost efficient because of no need for fuel.

            Since the introduction of the Bigwillow Electric Motors, innovation and a people-centric approach have always been at the core of our company.
